Why hire the Spencer Law Firm

The Spencer Law Firm provides a client first approach to a zealous and aggressive litigation practice. For over a decade we have successfully advanced the interests of our clients in litigation against some of the largest corporations and law firms in the country.

Since the firm was founded by Jeffrey Spencer in 2000 we have obtained an aggregate settlement value for our clients of over $120 Million in class actions, personal injury, employment, consumer and business litigation. This success has been accomplished through our expertise in complex civil litigation and trial practice in State and Federal Courts.

Our firm litigates cases in Orange County, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, San Bernardino, Riverside and throughout the State of California.

At the same time we have maintained a small firm environment where our clients always have an open channel of communication with the attorney directly responsible for their cases. Over 90% of our cases come from client referrals. We also receive frequent referrals of class action and civil litigation cases from other attorneys and are frequently called upon to advise other firms in class action, personal injury, employment, consumer and business matters.

The Spencer Law Firm aggressively litigates to protect the interests of their clients. In 2016 alone the Spencer Law Firm successfully certified 6 contested class actions including Gilbert v. Money Mutual for illegal loan practices in the United Stated District Court for the Northern District of California, Pedroza v. El Dorado Inn and Pedroza v. Valencia Inn in Orange County Superior Court and Hanson v. California Suites Hotel in San Diego Superior Court for tenant rights arising out of the 28 Day Shuffle practice and Wilens v. Heart Savers, LLC. in the United States District Court for the Central District of California for violations of the TCPA.

In 2017 The Spencer Law Firm won a trial on alter ego liability in Orange County Superior Court against the owner of a restaurant that declared bankruptcy in 2015 on the eve of a sexual harassment trial. The trial established the owner’s liability for the corporation. The case settled in 2018 for $5 Million on behalf of nine women.
