Balboa Capital is a technology-driven financing company that provides business owners with fast, hassle free solutions to fuel their growth and success. The company specializes in small business loans, equipment financing, commercial financing, equipment vendor financing, and franchise financing.  Formtran started out working with Balboa’s team to automate Acord insurance forms.  The success of that project spawned other automation initiatives, including invoice automation, tax return processing and vehicle title automation.

Founded in 2011, BA Sports Nutrition is a sports nutrition company specializing in creating premium hydration options for consumers.  BodyArmor Sports Drink is the #2 sports drink in the U.S.  Coca-Cola is a shareholder in BodyArmor.  Formtran worked with BodyArmor to automate the processing of bills of lading and other transportation documents in a 100% cloud environment and pass processed information to their NetSuite ERP system.

Everyone from beginners to the world’s most acclaimed artists have used Fender instruments, amps and gear, making the company not only a revered industry leader but a cultural symbol that resonates globally.  Fender is the world’s largest guitar manufacturer.  Fender receives a high volume of invoices that must be processed into their SAP ERP system.  Formtran provides OCR and RPA expertise to keep the AP processing humming along.

Regal, a subsidiary of the Cineworld Group, operates one of the largest and most geographically diverse theatre circuits in the United States, consisting of 5,808 screens in 428 theatres in 41 states along with the District of Columbia and Guam as of December 31, 2023.  Formtran intelligent document processing technology helps Regal automatically classify and extract information from dozens of human resource documents to improve productivity and eliminate errors.

Is there a better place to hunt and fish than Alaska? That must be why the Alaska Department of Fish and Game gets so many permit applications. They are using Formtran software to scan thousands of permit applications, reports and other forms from remote offices throughout the state.

Think Marines can’t be high tech? Think again. The USMC is using Formtran technology to read and automatically file barcoded documents. The documents have a variable number of barcodes and barcode types.  Formtran’s software automatically identifies the two barcodes they need and uses the values gleaned from the barcodes to name a .pdf file. Users can then go back and quickly find a page based on the filename.
